Welcome, and thank you for using CTRLpotato! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of CTRLpotato (the “App” or “Service”). By accessing or using CTRLpotato, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
CTRLpotato is a subscription-based desktop application that helps users capture and organize on-screen content (text, screenshots, audio transcriptions) in real-time and generate AI-powered responses. It is designed to assist users during time-sensitive online situations such as interviews, assessments, or technical evaluations by enabling fast access to relevant context and generating helpful suggestions or explanations.
CTRLpotato is available as a monthly subscription at $29 USD. Your subscription begins when your first payment is processed and renews automatically each month using the payment method you provide.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. CTRLpotato does not store your full payment card details.
By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle.
Due to the nature of digital software, all purchases are non-refundable. No partial refunds are provided for unused time or early cancellations.
When you subscribe, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use CTRLpotato on your device during your active subscription period.
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these Terms or misuse the service.
CTRLpotato uses third-party AI services to generate content based on the context you capture and submit. The accuracy, relevance, or appropriateness of AI-generated content may vary.
AI output is intended to support your own thinking and decision making. It is your responsibility to review and interpret it appropriately.
CTRLpotato includes functionality such as transparent overlays, mobile mirroring, and shortcut-based capture tools to improve focus and efficiency. These features may behave differently depending on your operating system, hardware, or third-party software in use.
We do not guarantee compatibility or uninterrupted performance across all environments.
You are responsible for how you use CTRLpotato. You agree to use the app ethically, and in compliance with any applicable laws or rules set by your employer, school, or online platform.
CTRLpotato is intended to assist your work — not to replace understanding or bypass personal accountability. Misuse of the software may result in termination of your access.
CTRLpotato is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the software will meet your requirements, be error-free, or function perfectly in all situations.
We are not liable for any consequences resulting from the use or misuse of the software or the AI-generated output.
If we are found liable for any reason, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the issue occurred.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages of any kind.
CTRLpotato may be updated automatically or manually at any time. Features may be added, modified, or removed without prior notice.
CTRLpotato is operated independently. No agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship is created by your use of the software.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of Czech Republic, without regard to conflict of law principles.
